09_Jan_22-28a_web 10_Jan_22-28b_web Week 4 recap

  • 22nd: Getting ready to take down the side fence.
  • 23rd: Painting window sills in the new office
  • 24th: Started laying flooring in the new office.
  • 25th: Flooring done in the new office. Fence posts are in.
  • 26th: Australia Day. Our bedroom is full of boxes from the office
  • 27th: A lazy day at home catching up on housework.
  • 28th: My birthday. 38 weeks pregnant!

The weekly inspiration over at Roll 2 Create this week was to take a photo of something that reminds you of Australia, or something that is typically Australian to you. Haven’t done it yet. The next inspiration is to take a photo of the contents of your fridge. Maybe that’ll be my photo for tomorrow.

Week 3

Wow I can’t believe we’re in week 3 already!

I’ve been running a little inspirational challenge over at my site Roll 2 Create. Each week on a Friday I’ve been posting a idea for a photo to take sometime through each week. Been a bit slack and haven’t shared mine as yet so I thought I’d do it here.

Week one was to take a photo of yourself. We often forget to take photos of ourselves so I challenge you to take a photo of the one who takes all the photos. So let’s see those self-portraits. (I haven’t done this one yet – I hate having my photo taken)

Week two was to take a photo of where you scrap. Another hard one cause atm I scrap where ever I can due to renovations LOL but here is some of my scrapping mess in the lounge & yup I’m scrapping on a stable table.

076 Week three (starting today) is to take a photo of something that happens every day in your life. So my photo is off all my gestational diabetes stuff as I have to take my blood sugar levels 4 times & day & inject insulin 3 times a day.

077 If you feel like playing along with my inspirational challenges feel free. You can either join Roll 2 Create and post them there or just play along on your blog. Either way let me know :)

  • 8th: Mum came round and gave me a hand cleaning up, so now have a super clean kitchen again
  • 9th: I spent the day pottering around & cleaning up the office.
  • 10th: Out in the back room, cleaning off the walls and getting them prepared to plaster.
  • 11th: Spent the day playing on my laptop. Created an Advice Book to take to my Baby Shower
  • 12th: Cot & mattress arrived today
  • 13th: Another day packing & cleaning. Mystra is loving all the boxes around and is often found asleep in one.
  • 14th: Had appointments at the hospital. All is going well. Mum held my Baby Shower.

Back soon with another post for the start of Week 3.

Week 1

Haven’t finished my cover yet or my month divider but I’ve finally got around to finishing off my layout for Week 1 (January 1 – 7)

I’m using probably 99% of the Weeds & Wildflowers Life 365 products from last year & the new series they have Sweet & Simple Life 365. You can check out the 2009 Life 365 products here & the Sweet & Simple Life 365 products here. I seriously love these products, they are great for a wide variety of layouts – not just Project 365!

Anywho, onto the layouts

I thought I’d also add a weekly recap at the bottom of each of my weekly layout shares, just for interests sake ;)

Week of January 1 – 7

  • 1st: Did a stock take for Roll 2 Create & watched Battlestar Galactica DVDs hubby got for Christmas
  • 2nd: At Jim & Janette's for a BBQ. Matt & Annabel are down from QLD so was nice to catch up with them.
  • 3rd: Starting to clean up the house. Getting things packed or chucked so the house is semi reasonable before bub arrives.
  • 4th: Went to town with Mum (had a diabetes Clinic appointment & did a bit of shopping) & then went for a swim at Homer & Noreen's.
  • 5th: Spent a quiet day at home. Didn’t really do much so took some photos of our cacti in flower
  • 6th: The first belly bump pic of 2010. Me at about 35 weeks – not long now. Ordered our cot today.
  • 7th: Picked up our capsule for bub. Bought by my brother. :)

I had to share this

I found this post via a link on Tamar’s blog.

It’s all about doing Project 365 and what to do if you miss a day (or two or more) of taking photos. Well worth a read. I thought about doing this last year & thought it was kinda cheating but really Project 365 is about documenting your year even if you take the photos later.

So if you’re not sure bout doing Project 365 this year, have a read!

Not really Project 365

but a cool net find

Happy 2010

So I’m not going to post a photo everyday (cause I tried that last year & failed miserably)

The plan at this point in time is to post a weekly summary of my photos on a Friday night. Doing these as digi layouts that I’ll most likely get published into a book at the end of 2010. I’ll be doing this with both my Project 365 & bub’s album.

Anyways enough about me. Are you doing Project 365? Link me up so I can leave you some love :)
